The Department of Housing & Urban Development today published HUD's Fiscal Year 2007 “SuperNOFA,” a notice that makes available approximately $2.4 billion in funding through 38 individual grant programs to support a number of homeless programs nationwide.
The territory is eligible to seek funding under its V.I. Alliance against Homelessness Continuum of Care for programs such as:
Supportive Housing Programs (SHP) Shelter plus care (S+C) Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy program for Homeless individuals (SRO)
The territory's CoC allocation or prorate share of the funding is Five Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand, three Hundred Sixty-four Dollars ($557,364.) through the McKinney-Vento Program.
